Acromioclavicular joint pain

• Pain relief as advised by your pharmacist or GP
• See your GP who can refer you to a physiotherapist
• If the pain is severe, you may be offered a steroid injection
• If your symptoms remain severe, despite the above treatments, you may be offered surgery

Referred shoulder pain

• Pain relief as advised by your pharmacist or GP
• Exercises and stretches to keep the joints healthy and prevent nerves getting trapped or irritated
• See your GP who can refer you to a physiotherapist
