The foot is a complex structure of more than 26 bones, 33 joints, and more than 100 muscles, tendons, and ligaments.If you consider that with each step we take, a force of 2-3 times our body weight is placed on our feet and during a typical day we take 8,000 - 10,000 steps, it comes as no surprise that at some time in our lives we will all suffer from some type of foot pain.
Foot pain can be caused by an injury, disease, poor fitting footwear and comes in a variety of forms, the most common of which are:
